Your role with us

To put it simply, youll be the primary contact for our external and internal customers, including our outside sales staff. Youll ensure the appropriate product is selected, ordered, and delivered to every customer based on their needs. Heres a list of your main duties:

• Manage customer orders, changes, and cancellations
• Determine, negotiate, and communicate pricing (including margins, discounts, payment terms, and shipping charges), delivery terms, and shipping instructions
• Coordinate order placement with purchasing team
• Negotiate pricing and delivery with suppliers
• Oversee large-scale customer projects/orders ensuring product availability and timely delivery according to customer project timelines and goals
• Assist customers with pricing, delivery, expediting, tracking, missing shipments, and delays
• Analyze system-generated reports to track/expedite the status of open orders and quotes
• Offer additional products or upsells to a customer that may benefit them, and suggest alternatives when the requested product is not available
• Participate in internal and external industry training

Your profile

• High school diploma (a bachelors degree or a plan to pursue a degree would be considered a plus)
• Self-driven and proactive
• Extensive knowledge of electrical distribution operations and/or similar products
• 2 years of experience in operations, counter sales, or the electrical distribution industry
• Great communication skills (oral and written)
• Competence with MS Office products and understanding of the business system
